Everyone steps on the scale at check-in, and Viator asks for your weight in pounds when you book. Give your real weight. Riders over 275 lb cannot zip, and a non-refundable Viator ticket is not refunded if you are turned away.

How does tandem riding work for small children?
Children under 70 lb ride tandem with an adult, as long as the two together weigh no more than 275 lb.
That combined limit matters: a 60 lb child can ride with an adult of up to 215 lb. If the heaviest parent is over the combined limit, another adult will need to ride with the child.

Is there a height limit?
Yes: at least 44 inches and no more than 6 ft 6 in.
The minimum keeps small children safely in the harness; the maximum is about clearance on the course. Both are checked at the start.
What does landing involve?
On the ramps at the end of each line you lean back and pull your knees up towards your chest when the guide says so.
Guides practise the position with you at the briefing. Most riders manage it easily, but one guest with a prior hernia could not, and the operator's reply noted that the requirement is stated on its site and on Viator. If a back, hip or abdominal problem makes this hard, choose another tour.

The course is not wheelchair accessible. There is a short flight of stairs before the truck ride, and a 78-year-old reviewer noted there were not an excessive number of stairs.
Is it scary for kids or nervous adults?
Less than most: the lines are short, the guides stay close, and many reviewers who were afraid of heights finished the course.
